Actually, a cold beer would be just as nice if you like beer and there is no law that says you cannot throw a couple of beers in the wine cooler but we digress. If you buy a decent wine cooler and not some rubbish from the dollar store, your wine cooler will chill the wine quickly which is great if you are too stupid to pre-chill it for yourself or your guests. Warm white wine often makes people gag so to avoid this unsightly shambles, always keep your wine cooler to hand at all times.
Ultimately, if you like your wine cold and you like to sit on your deck without having to move or throw a barbecue with cold beer and wine, a wine cooler is your best bet. A wine refrigerator is good, but the versatile convenience of a wine cooler is hard to beat.
