Wine

Wine is something which should be enjoyed by the masses. For too long, wine has been the last bastion of the wine lover, the wine aficionado and the wine buff. As the sale of wine around the world continues to grow exponentially, wine from different countries and wine of various prices proliferates the market like never before. Subsequently, this burgeoning wine market and wide range of wine choices has slowly started creating new wine drinkers who previously would never have touched wine.

Much as I encourage wine to be consumed by the masses, that does not mean that wine should be imbibed without wine knowledge informing your wine purchasing choice. Form the finest French wine to the wine of the new world such as South Africa, wine has something to offer even the most unsophisticated of wine palettes. Wine can be very expensive, but that does not mean that you have to spend huge amounts on wine to get a decent bottle to enjoy with dinner. With some brief research, you can learn one wine from another, which wine should go with which food and which wine to avoid.

We here at 21-Wines.com love our wine. As the resident wine expert, I am delighted to share my wine knowledge and wine purchasing tips with anyone who cares to ask and even those who do not. More and more wine merchants are appearing and wine can be bought from all over the world from any reliable purveyor of fine wine. Win can be enjoyed with dinner, wine can be enjoyed at a picnic, wine can be enjoyed in a bar but only by women as it tends to look feminine if a chap drinks wine in a bar.

As I know much about wine, I feel it only fair to offer you a wine tip to close. With red wine, open the bottle an hour before consumption to let it ‘breathe’. White wine should be chilled but does not need to breathe. Also, always serve red wine at room temperature and remember, nothing quite goes with a bottle of Chateau Latife-Rothschild wine like a nice big steak.
